I hate to admit it but that was me.... At that time (the 50's and 60's), I was known as 'Chuck' Daugherty, a popular radio DJ. Ah yes, "those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end"..... We were all young and wild! Record hops, live guest stars, dancing, contests, prizes, every Friday and Saturday night.... both in Detroit and out in Southern California, Broadcasting right from the beach.....Yeah, I do miss it sometimes. We don't even have phonograph records any more.... "Stacks of Wax".... "make it or break it?" And as somebody once said: "This too shall pass!" .... Memories....
