Somewhere in Mexico. It was inspired by an real old wrinkled and badly yellowed black and white (Tintype?) photograph said to be over 100 years old. Somebody at the Mexican TV station (XETV) copied it for me. I found the old picture during one of my many sojourns down to Tijuana to Tape a weekly TV show when I lived in San Diego back in the early '60s.
