This was the original "above-the-clouds" design for the set of a marvelous children's TV show that almost made it on the air back in the late 1960's called "Magic Mountain". It was supposed to join the Saturday morning children's show line-up on the ABC television network when some changes were made in the programming department.... and, along with several other shows, Magic Mountain was dropped from the schedule. Just one of those things that sometimes happen in "Show Biz".
But, the wonderful Set Design "lives on", and it can easily be creating pleasant dreams for your children if you wish.
