Description
For those of you who are not from the mid west, the "Mighty Mack" is the Mackinac Bridge. It joins the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan, and also separates Lake Michigan from Lake Huron. It is currently the third longest suspension bridge in the world; the longest being in Japan, and the second longest in Denmark. The "Mighty Mack" is the longest suspension bridge in the western hemisphere. Huge ocean-going and great-lakes steamships sometimes sail underneath as you are driving over.
